Half deaf

Sometimes i wonder what would be a world without sounds sound like. Well, I'm now kind of understand. Of course i haven't become deaf yet, but half deaf, which means i can only listen using my right ear.. I have nobody to thank but me myself who causing this. It happened yesterday when i tried to clean off my earwax using a cotton bug. While I was enjoying the comforting moments, something dreadful happened. The cotton drop off itself and it stuck inside my left ear!!!

Actually this is not the first time I experienced this. I tried to be calm and hoping I managed to take it out slowly just like previous, but unfortunately not for this time... I tried every possible way that I could think of but nothing seemed to work. I was scared shitless... I even used the hairdryer to blow my left ear, hoping the cotton will come out from my right ear... I know, I know it sounds stupid but I guess desperate people tend to find some funny alternatives or abnormal way to solve the problem after trying the normal way. I was left no choice but to see the doctor.

The lesson of the story: Ear-digging is not a massage.. This is what my frend Dennis told me. Well, it is certainly true and from this incident I have another thought. How good if we can occasionally choose to be deaf, especially when your mother nagging at you, or people insulting you, and you can get rid of all those revolting words that jerked out from people's mouth while they quarreling, fighting, or having a disagreement... But still, I always believe that the world is beautiful with all wonderful sounds or words surrounding us. And if I have to live in a completely silence world, the most beautiful word that I will always miss would be: I LOVE YOU.
